Remove what frustrates them first
If there’s constant frustration, incentives won’t fix it.
So before you add rewards, remove irritations.
Ask your team what regularly drains them. What wastes time. What makes their job harder than it should be.
Listen properly. And then fix the recurring issues.
There might be unclear processes. There might be shifting priorities. There might be lots of last-minute changes.
When you remove persistent frustrations, people are left energised.
Remove what frustrates them first. That’s motivation.
